NOLA for 25

It's been 25 years since Drew graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans and was commissioned as an officer in the US Navy though the ROTC program. It was time to rally the troops for some reunion P.T., i.e. 12 oz. curls.
He looks just the same now.
Thursday, we met up with a bunch of Drew's fellow ROTC recruits for many drinks. In the interest of keeping my good reputation, I will not post all the picutres here. Suffice it to say that the break our livers received during this past May when we gave up alcohol  while training for Breck was undone. Friday was more of the same with a tour around campus.
Tulane knows how to do homecoming festivities.
Saturday We went to the ROTC tailgate party,
The officers and their others in front of the cannon at the ROTC building.
then the Tulane alumni tent tailgate party,
Tulane cookies.
   then the football game,
The marching band is the best part of the game.
then three of the old haunt bars.
These girls offered Drew a shot and then they wanted him to dance, until they saw him dance. Ha ha.
All that before 8 pm.  Since we are now all in our mid-forties, we are smart enough to know when to Uber home. We retired back to our luxury hotel,  Marie and John's house for some more catching up. Marie and John were amazing hosts to take four of us into their lovely home. So a fun weekend. Next stop, Mexico! First we had to get there. Flights out of NOLA were full so we drove to Houston for our international launching pad.
You can't drive across the Louisiana swamp without seeing an alligator.

I knew I brought my telephoto lens for a reason. Lizard.
