Moab with friends

In early November, we hosted our friends in Moab for a weekend.

Temps were mild so we got a nice ride in on Friday on the Moab "brand" trails.

We had a little fun on one of the potholes.

Friday night it rained and rained on into Saturday morning, so biking was out.  Drew took one for the team and attended our annual Home Owners Association meeting while the rest of us went for a fabulous 7 mile hike in the Devils Garden area in Arches National Park. It was a little cold...

But the friends and scenery were great.

We had some fun goofing off,

planking,
 and playing shadow games.

The rain had filled the potholes.

The late afternoon sun angle and clear blue skies made for a memorable hike.

Sunday we had time for a quick ride on some newer trails in the Klondike Bluffs area: Baby Steps, Mega Steps, and EKG.

Mega Steps and EKG were so awesome!  Really fun and technical but not too technical.  Just enough to make you pay attention at all times.  We had to stop every once in a while just to be able to take in the gorgeous scenery and snap a group picture.
Sure was fun!
